On 16-17 March 2017, the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) held a seminar in the Bristol Hotel in Warsaw, which was organized jointly by three AIPPI National Groups from Poland, Germany and France with the participation of the AIPPI Bureau based in Zurich. The seminar was devoted to current IP issues and included topics related to the enforcement of rights and protection of patents, industrial designs, trademarks, and copyrights.

On the substantive side, one of the persons responsible for the organization of the seminar was Bartosz Krakowiak, Deputy Manager of the Trademark Department at POLSERVICE and President of AIPPI Poland. Bartosz Krakowiak welcomed all participants of the event and introduced special guests: Andrzej Pyrża – Deputy President of the Polish Patent Office, Kamil Kiljański - Chief Economist, DG Growth, the European Commission, and Hao Ma – President of AIPPI. The seminar was attended by eight persons from POLSERVICE, members of AIPPI, including our President of the Board Andrzej Ponikiewski who is AIPPI Member of Honour.
