On 17 October, a next meeting with the Patent Examiners from the European Patent Office took place, which was hosted by our Office. The meeting was opened once again by Mr. Andrzej Ponikiewski, the President of the Management Board. This time, Ms. Magdalena Augustyniak, a Polish and European patent attorney employed in our Office, co-hosted the event. The participants of the meeting had the opportunity to pursue a further discussion on the practice of the European Patent Office with regards to the computer-aided inventions. In addition, there were also discussed the issues related to the changes in the European patent applications and to the opposition and appeal procedure.
