Iwona Skulimowska-Makówka






Patent attorney since 1992. European patent attorney. Professional attorney before the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM).

Graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Warsaw. Specialized in chemistry of steroids and of organic synthesis. In 1965-1973 worked as a scientific researcher at the University of Warsaw. In 1973-1998 an examiner and later a chief examiner at the Polish Patent Office. During the period of her work at the Patent Office she was a member of the Arbitration Board and the Board of Appeal. Joined Polservice in 1995. In 1998-2001 a lecturer on courses for patent attorneys.
