Bartosz Krakowiak, patent and trademark attorney and Member of the Board, spoke at the 43rd ECTA Annual Conference in Berlin!
Last week, our colleague had the privilege of participating in the session “My Name is Law… Case Law,” providing an overview of recent EU trademark cases. The panel, moderated by Verena von Bomhard, included discussions with Nina Korjus (EUIPO 4th Board of Appeal) and Judge Gabriele Steinfatt (EU General Court) on key topics such as bad faith, political slogans, genuine use, weak marks, and newly published CJEU judgment C-17/24 in the CeramTec case.
Bartosz also co-led the Anti-Counterfeiting Committee meeting, where he serves as Vice-Chair, alongside Committee Chair Stoyan Sirakov and Committee Secretary Dr. Zsófia Fulajtár.
We are grateful to ECTA for organizing such an outstanding event and to all the panelists for their engaging contributions.
