From 7–10 October 2026, Bartosz Krakowiak, Management Board Member of POLSERVICE and President of AIPPI Polska, and Marta Kawczyńska, Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of POLSERVICE and Vice President of AIPPI Polska, attended the AIPPI World Congress in Hamburg, a major international event dedicated to intellectual property law.
At the Council of Presidents meeting, Bartosz presented examples of best practices at AIPPI Polska, including the Trilateral Seminar in Paris and the Advisory Panel on Quality at the Polish Patent Office. The Congress also marked the end of his second term as a member of the AIPPI Nominating Committee, which identifies candidates for the Association’s Bureau and statutory committees.
Marta contributed to discussions on microbiome-based inventions and attended sessions on biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. She also visited the local division of the Unified Patent Court (UPC) in Hamburg to learn more about the Court’s operations and proceedings.
Both attended their respective Standing Committee meetings and jointly represented AIPPI Polska at the Executive Committee and Plenary Sessions. The Congress concluded with the adoption of five resolutions addressing current IP issues. The Polish delegation also gathered for the Polish Evening in Hamburg.
Thank you to AIPPI Germany for hosting the Congress. See you in Cannes!
