It was three days full of inspiration, meetings, and discussions about the future of technology transfer, innovation, and intellectual property protection.
POLSERVICE proudly supported this event as a sponsor, and our law firm was represented by Zuzanna Trzcińska, Polish patent and trademark attorney, and Mateusz Prządka, Polish patent and trademark attorney and European Patent Attorney.
During the conference, our specialists gave a presentation entitled “From idea to patent, from patent to success,” in which they discussed how to effectively navigate the path from an innovative idea to commercial success – and the important role that a well-planned IP protection strategy plays in this process.
Another valuable part of the event was the behind-the-scenes networking with conference participants – both university representatives and industry representatives – which facilitated the exchange of experiences and discussions about potential areas of cooperation between science and business. Of particular interest were the panel discussions with experienced scientists, directors of technology transfer centers, and entrepreneurs, as well as presentations by young innovators, mainly students, who presented their achievements and inventions.
The discussions confirmed that inventions created at universities have enormous commercial potential and, above all, how important it is to ensure proper legal protection for innovative solutions, with processes that ensure their effective commercialization.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to the organizers from the PACTT Foundation and the Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer at the University of Zielona Góra, as well as to all participants for the interesting discussions, exchange of experiences, and wonderful atmosphere.
