On 18-22 September 2023, the 42nd Seminar of University Patent Attorneys took place in Cedzyna, Poland.

Like every year, POLSERVICE was pleased to be one of the partners of this event, organized under the auspices of Kielce University of Technology.

The agenda covered current issues related to IP protection in the context of recent law reforms in this area and challenges of the present economic and political situation in the world. The topics that were discussed included, among others: the entry into force of the Unitary Patent, jurisprudence of intellectual property courts, and protection of artificial intelligence.

Our colleague elected as the new Secretary General of epi

We proudly announce that on May 2, during epi Council meeting in Malmö, our colleague Magdalena Augustyniak from the Patent Team II was elected as the new Secretary General of epi.

Epi (the Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office) is the professional body representing all European Patent Attorneys. Currently the Institute has about 13,800 European Patent Attorneys as members coming from each of the 39 Contracting States of the European Patent Convention who work either in industry or in private practice.
