Leokadia Płotczyk

Polish Patent Attorney since 1991. European Patent Attorney. Professional attorney before the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).

Specializes in drafting, filing and prosecution of applications concerning patents in the field of chemistry and in obtaining supplementary protection certificates (SPC). Extensive experience in validating European patents in Poland.

Graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry at the Warsaw University of Technology. Completed post-graduate law studies at the European University of Law and Administration. In 1967- 1976 worked in industry where she gained scientific research experience. In 1976-1995 was employed as an expert and subsequently senior expert and examiner at the Polish Patent Office. In 1985-1995 member of the Arbitration Board and the Board of Appeal at the Polish Patent Office.

Served as a court-appointed expert in industrial property protection.

Member of AIPPI.

Joined POLSERVICE in 1995.
