Anna Stopińska-Ślefarska

Polish Patent Attorney since 1983. European Patent Attorney and professional representative before the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).

In the years 1992-2018 was in charge of the firm’s trademark department. In 2005 became Member of the Board and in December 2018 was elected President of the Board.

Has over 30 years of experience in the IP field. Before joining the trademark team, worked in the patent department, assisting domestic clients in the protection of their patents abroad. For many years specialized in trademark prosecution and litigation in Poland.

Currently, counsels domestic and international clients on the protection, maintenance and enforcement of trademark rights in Poland and other countries. Also advises clients on IP-related business transactions, especially IP assignments and licences.

Graduated from the Faculty of International Trade at the Central School of Planning and Statistics (presently the Warsaw School of Economics) in Warsaw. Completed post-graduate studies on Competition Law at the Jagiellonian University and Law Studies at the European School of Law and Administration. Participated in a professional training course on mediation in intellectual property disputes organized by WIPO in Geneva.

Member of AIPPI, UNION. Founder Member of LES Poland. Council Member of ECTA in the years 2004-2017, presently Member of the Membership and Disciplinary Committee of ECTA. Since 2004, has been actively involved in the works of various committees of INTA, presently member of the Famous & Well-Known Marks Committee. Participates as a speaker and moderator at various conferences and events held by professional organizations.

Joined POLSERVICE in 1977.
