On 2-5 October 2013, 14th Open Forum of FICPI (the International Federation of Intellectual Property Attorneys) was held in Sorrento, Italy. The forum was devoted to changes in the European patent protection law. The agenda of the event also included workshops on subjects relating to patent protection, SPC procedure and trade marks. Our office was represented at the Forum by patent attorneys Maria Łozińska and Paweł Wac.

On 10 April 2013, a conference devoted to Polish export promotion and cooperation between R&D and business sectors was held at the National Stadium in Warsaw. Bartosz Krakowiak, Deputy Manager of the Trademark Department at POLSERVICE participated in a panel discussion on the importance of patent and trademark protection in exports.
This year, as in the two previous years, Polservice Patent and Trademark Attorneys Office was one of the organizers of the Pre- Annual INTA Meeting Reception which took place in the Sheraton Hotel in Warsaw on March 11, 2013. Such receptions are held every year locally in member countries worldwide and precede the annual meeting of INTA, the largest association of trademark professionals in the world.
